Simply put, open-ended toys are toys that can be played with in multiple and varied ways.
Open-ended play allows children to express their creativity freely. There are no instructions, rules, or preset guides. It is play, without boundaries.
As there are no set rules or guides, there are no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ outcomes with open-ended play. It’s about letting your child use their imagination.
